I usually used in the past DSL cameras, but this Canon camera is impressive. As a tech enthusiast I appreciate anything with hi tech features and this Canon gadget has a lot of “future technology”. 12.1 MP CMOS, the 14x Optical Zoom (yes, optical). I put it in my wish list.

I have been taking photographs for a long time and i use the nikon d700 right now and its great but i think its a little to advanced for beginners but I think the Canon PowerShot SX230HS is an excellent beginners camera.
