Thanks for the insightful information. Twitter marketing does interest me, so I appreciate the web sites given. I am now trying Klout, although I am still trying to figure it out a little. One thing about Klout (I had emailed them about this) it does not take into account your word press sites and visitors, although they said they were working on this a few months ago when I reached out to them. Happy new year.

Twitter analytics are becoming increasingly important these days. In terms of SEO, search engines are starting to reward users with a more holistic approach that includes social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, and in pure marketing terms, the feedback you can generate from Twitter is incredibly helpful. Having tools to monitor the kinds of traffic you are getting can really help to improve your tweets to get the mots out of them.

Absolutely correct! I think it’s great that they show the correlation between social media activity and relevance of a website. When people like your content. product or service, they will talk about it and social media is just one more way to do that.

I think its a pity that Twitter doesnt come with built-in Analytics, like Facebook fanpages. But nonetheless, 3rd party tools to the rescue! Personally, I use HootSuite and Tweetdeck; the former comes with a good set of stats for each Twitter account added to your dashboard, the latter not really.

I’ve never really saw twitter as being super valuable for a business (at least my business that is). I’m a Hypnotherapist here on the Island of Kauai so I need to find people that use Twitter that are here on Kauai.

I used to make the mistake of having my Twitter feed on my blog until I realized I was giving people a way to leave my site. Now I’m planning on just using twitter to bring people to the site and then getting them on my newsletter.

I’m just planning to start a new twitter campaign, hopefully a one that works for a change. I never had any success with twitter over the years. Wasted a lot of time, got very little in return. Now I’m planning to do it by the book, as well as other social media campaigns and these tools you’ve listed will come in handy, especially since there are a lot of articles out there on this subject but I rarely find one that is recent and relevant.

These kinds of little experiments are great. Not only are they really fun and interactive but young kids can gain really important knowledge that they can use throughout their lives. Everything we do today is based on things that use electricity, showing them how it works can only serve to improve their understanding and help them understand these important concepts.
